Although you didn't say which coast, here on the coast of Lake Ontario, we
have no such problem...... just an abundance of fresh water.

Pacific coast. And it quite probably did. Still, it didn't show up in the
vertical pianos that were 'protected' with Dampp-Chasers and humidistats. At
least not nearly as much.
