Paul
I contacted Baldwin about making me an oversize blank to replace a fire
damaged lid. They said they could do it but didn't quote any prices at the
time. The deal fell threw so, the blank was never ordered. Also, I had a
mill make me a piece of 3/4" lumber core AA faced plywood to make a new
lid. There was plenty of material left to add to the edge to get the
necessary width and a good grain match. But it was pricey! About $160.00, 8
years ago.
