Michael and list, One way I help myself make decisions regarding expensive items is to ask myself these questions: How often will I use this item? How long will it last? What is its worth to me? Eighty bucks is pretty much for a wattage controller, I guess, but if it will last a lifetime and you use it eighty times, it's well worth it. That's only a buck per job. These questions can be applied to any other purchase as well, business or personal. I encourage people to give serious thought to how much they are willing to spend on a piano. If it is the only piano they are likely to buy and may own for 30-40 years, they should buy the best they can afford. If they are average, that's longer than they will live in their current house (OK, I'm guessing). And even if they buy expensive new SUVs, they'll probably go through three or four of them while they still have the same piano. Regards, Clyde Hollinger, RPT Lititz, PA, USA
