Hey Berley, Curved edge just for the purpose. I've seen keyboards both flat and crowned. (My own personal opinion... and this is just my opinion... I like keyboards flat. Sorry if that goes against anyone's grain. As a piano player, it's just the way I like em'... but then again, I like ET too...<to each his own, live and let live, etc...>) Here's a question for the 'crowners'... How much of a crown do you like? 120' radius? 160' radius? (can you tell I've spent time with rib stock?... trust me though, the rib stock is usually closer to a 50' - 60' radius ... but that's another thread...) So,... where's Bayou La Combe?
