I, too, after 27 years as a mobile piano-fixer can sometimes be found trying every door of a house-- provided I've been invited to come in regardless of whether anyone's home. Sometimes they just forget to leave the door unlocked or the key in the specified hiding-place. I do draw the line at windows, though . . . won't go through a window unless it's ground-level. I just use common sense. If you make lots of noise, bang on the door first, tool kit in hand, and don't slink around like you're trying not to be seen, who is likely to think that you're up to mischief? As far as the just-raped little girl upstairs: Man, you've been watching too much TV "news" . . . there really are places left in this world where paranoia doesn't rule. I'm sorry to hear things are so bad around Tampa. Joseph Giandalone, RPT Conway,. MA ---------- From: "Farrell" <mfarrel2@tampabay.rr.com> To: <pianotech@ptg.org> Subject: Re: Appt.
