Pre 1900's Heinzman's, You have to split the case both sides of the gable
end (arm),It surrounds the block on  all side's,  On top of that both the
gable ends, stretcher, and pin block is blind dowelled in to the main case.
Fun and games re veneering the curved surfaces.
Guess what, I really check those old ones now.  Lost my shirt on that job.
Still have nightmares.
