Yes, John is exactly right. I have used the Yamaha PT-100. It has a few =
tunings in it that are designed for a few Yamahas. No ability to modify. =
No ability to create new tuning. No nothing. IMHO you should eliminate =
the Yamaha PT-100 from your consideration if you are planning on tuning =
pianos.
Consider the SAT III, Tunelab and CyberTuner. I use the SAT III and =
highly recommend it. Check the archives for tons of info on it and the =
other two.

Buy the SAT. The Yamaha unit has some generic programs for some Yamaha =
models. I don't believe it has the ability to give you a custom tuning =
for a piano using something like the FAC program.
