Think of it as a challenge.  Like making silk purses out of a pile of ----
junk.

Taking the time to do the pre-regulation procedures well was a given in
what I had written.  Regulation itself is meaningless with doing the pre
and post regulation procedures.  If you have a regulation procedure list
especially set up for older instruments much of the detailed work is taken
carred of and the ultimate specs used on that piano are often inherently
known before getting there.  Regulating a couple of Branbachs will show you
the way. :)
