Richard,
Bositch glides are metal leg glides with a cushion ring and nail. The
surface that contacts the floor is metal w/nickel plating. Although, I have
not been able to get"Bositch" glides, (I suspect the company is gone), My
local "high-end" Hardware store was able to order similar ones. These have
the following printed on them: "Handy B.M. Co. Chicago-N.Y." They come in
7/8" (small) and 1 1/16" (large). These glides prevent damage to the floor
or carpets and help the bench "glide". Hope that helps.
Regards,
Joe Garrett, R.P.T. (Oregon)
