A piano tuner friend of mine called to ask me to loan him a #1 tuning tip because he has a Spanish-built piano, straight strung, not overdampered, and none of his tuning tips fit. So I loaned him a #1 tip and a harpsichord tuning hammer but the #1 was too large and the harpsichord tip was too small. What does he need here? Any suggestions? Ted Simmons
