Ted,
Probably an olde "Hale" #1. These were smaller than the current #1,
available. I have one, and it's the only thing that will fit on the tuning
pins of an 1804 Clementi Square Piano.
You might check with an "Old-Timer", in your neck of the woods.

The Olde "Hale" #4 was a whole lot larger than the current #4's and will fit
on those !@#$%^^** 6/0, 7/0 & 8/0 pins that were used way back when. (but,
that's another story) [grin]
