3M sandpaper

Greg, as Mark Potter indicated, the one or two week wait is only suggested
for final rub-out. Sanding between coats, if needed, can be done after an
hour or two. Sanding between coats is only needed if you have some type of
poor surface that you need to level. If it is going on nice and smooth (or
something close to it), there is no need to sand between coats if coats are
applied within 24 hours (or is it 12 hours?).

I put twelve coats on in two days on my last piano.

    Thank you for this. I'm curious as to what they expect you to do with

product. If one puts on at least 7 coats or more (isn't that somewhat
standard?)
than it could take weeks just to spray it, no? Maybe nitro celulose is still
the
way to go.
