Willem,
I wouldn't do that unless the original ones have "Corfam" on em'. And, =
even if they do, I'd replace the ''Corfam" junk with real leather on the =
originals. It would be a whole lot less work and better to boot. Save =
yourself a whole lot of traveling, etc. The current butts, available, =
have (Corfam) on them too! Hate that junk!
Regards,
Joe Garrett, R.P.T.

Hi All! I will be replacing the hammers and reconditioning the =
action =20
of a Hamilton studio piano at a local school- I usually use =
Isaac=20
hammers on most pianos but for this one I want to go a bit less =20
expensive-=20
any suggestions for hammers which be be good for this piano =
which is=20
often used for accompanying choirs? I would also like to choose =
some which=20
might help mitigate the awful brightness of the basic Hamilton =
tone? =20
Thanks, Ileen Kaplan=20
Try the Standard hammers from Schaff.=20
As a side note, unless there just isn't any money, I would replace the =
hammer=20
butts and flanges as well.=20
