Laura and All, You might want to check out the National Association for the Self-Employed, NASE. They offer extremely good rates, the best I've found as a self employed individual. Plus they also have a reasonably good prescription drug plan. I've been with them for several years and while not happy paying what I pay, at least it's better than the other plans.
