Sorry for the delay Guys. Del, the oldest
" 125 " Chickering in my records is #163412.
This piano was built in 1938. This is about
the time when the small grands were being
introduced as a cost saving in production.
The Steinway "S" was introduced in 1936.
At that time we were still in the depression.
