Hi Bill, Your tunings certainly would have great "character" with this amount of stretch. Do you assume that power increases with increased bearing on the soundboard? Do you believe the higher pitch causes the board to become "stiffer"? Or is it simply the higher pitch allows the instrument to be heard?
