Not so much unconcerned as relentlessly unaware. They don't seem to have any
conception that soundboards can malfunction, so it can't be a point of
consideration. They seem horrified at the very concept, so naturally won't
believe any such report. This seems to have no bearing at all on the time
elapsed since the last call they got from the same technician with the same
complaint on a previous piano. I'm sure it's a little different trying to
factory produce a complaint resistant soundboard than calling the factory with
a soundboard complaint.
