Hi everybody! A customer wants the touch weight on his Young Chang vert increased. I So before I get started, I wanted to ask for ideas and opinions. I remembered a post on this subject from a while back, and after accessing the archive, i found it: Vinyl tubing (3/16" i.d.,6/16" o.d.)cut to approx. 1/2" pieces, and slit down the center. then slide them over the catcher dowels of each hammer...viola..added touch weight! Is this a method used by many techs? I'd like to get feedback on this and any other methods that are quick and easy. thanks!
