Friends, There have been times when, trying to do a good deed, I've tried to get a worn-out piano up and running. I also remember mentioning specifically that in no way can the piano be considered rebuilt. I have thought of saying (or maybe actually said!) that after they spend $200 getting it "working," it will only be worth $75, and I couldn't really recommend to anyone else that they obtain it, even for free.
