Uneven wrap endings

The comment was made that most bass string makers can make you a set of
strings that will not have uneven wrap endings and will not give you uneven
unisons. NOT! Very few bass string makers even come close, IMHO. The only
way I have found to eliviate most of this problem is to take extremely
accurate measurements and feed them into a good scaling program that will
kick out a "scale sheet" that is to be sent to a string maker, that is smart
enought to be able to read and take directions w/o getting his stupidity in
the way. There are a few String Makers that care and Mapes aint one of them.
