I'd say you did the right thing. An old maxim... << if it ain't broke don't fix it >> is more often then not the best advice. Besides.... I am not sure the book has really been written about bridge notching and buzzes. Seems to be an awfull lot of exceptions to the rule in my experience. In anycase if its not buzzing now and has decent enough sound theres no reason to walk into that proverbial valley of shadow. Dry wall screws eh ??? nice. RicB
