Gentle person;
Baldwin/Hamilton....approx 10years....church setting.....high
humidity.....signs of rats.....jacks hang on hammer butt upon release,
therefore no note repeat
Problem two....squeek....almost positive capstan/sticker squeek
Solution???? Thinking about 1. damp chaser 2. polish capstans 3.
spray mold release on balance and front rail pins (just preventive squeeking
solution)
Question: Polish capstans with WHAT? Should I lubricate sticker felt
or capstan and with WHAT? (mold release....Schaff's whatever??)
Last Question.....any other solutions...thoughts
Never seen Baldwin sticking, squeeking this bad...Yes, already tried
protec center pin lube.....didn't work.
