Alan,

If you literally did "tune and install a DC", in that order, then the DC will have driven it out of tune.  DAMHIK.  Tune it now that the DC has had a  month to stabilise the humidity, and it should stay.  That's assuming there isn't something else going on in addition.

Steck baby grand bought new about 12 months ago. Owner didn't play it much and probably never had it tuned after delivery. I tuned it and installed a DC when new owner bought it in November. One month later, owner says some of the notes have gone quite sour. Will see it tomorrow.

Any chance this piano is still suffering the New String Stretchies?
