refinishing questions from beginner...

Hi Jay,

Since you are a beginner, might I suggest you
start out with water based finishes?

There are some good ones on the market.  

And there are some advantages to using water
based products.  Easy cleanup.  Very limited
toxic fumes.  No need for explosion proof
ventilation.  No problems with the "neighbors"
smelling "paint fumes".

If you haven't been spraying traditional lacquers
to begin with, there's not so much you have to
learn differently.  

Before you get set up, at least consider it.
