I have really only glossed over this thread - just enough to be scared of it! Seems pretty goofy to me. I have been delving into soundboard thoughts these days. So sitting at the computer looking for some David Hughes articles on boards, I ran across the cover of the January 1995 issue of the PTGJ. It is a prepared piano with felt and screws and all sorts of wicked looking things stuck into the strings. Take a look if curious.
