Mike: Thanks. I thought of that but it will have to be mighty thin. The bolts are .295 and the hole is not a lot wider but some. I guess I was thinking of PVC rather than tubing. PVC is too thick for the hole but tubing might work. I am going to try Wilem's idea about lowering the plate first....If that doesn't work I'm going to try the tubing idea. Again, thanks.
