I guess my parameters are based on what will fit comfortably into the Genck case. Why go in with a half-empty case?

I'd say why carry around tools you rarely use? I love having a small kit when I know its all I need. I believe your at a University? In a situation of moving from one room to the next more tools would be needed and you might have to walk quite a ways to the car.

I think this would be a good thread...although we may have already done it?...What is necessary for a tuning kit: You have to go beyond just a hammer, mutes & a fork...but what? What are typical things that come up? Not a rare repair...thats what the car is for.

I do agree that it is more professional to have exactly what you need at all times...but my arms veto this idea everytime.
