Hi, sorry for that previous test-mail. I cant understand why i cant send mails to this list using outlook (have to use the webmail-interface).

Anyhow... heres what I've been trying to send for days

*snip*

Hi!

I've been wondering what I should use to make a new lid for my grand. Its 230cm long, so I guess MDF would'nt be the best choice. The best solution
would be if there were some kind of wood-platters that I can screw right into and wich would be strong enough to hold it securly to the hinges.

Another thing that would be nice is if there were some material with tight fibres so I could take a router to make the edges without having to glue
some routed hardwood around the edge. Its going to be sprayed so if that would make it unnecessary to veneer the lid, that would be superb.

The old lid is totally wrecked :(

It would really help me if you, when replying to this message also CC'ed it to this adress (malinglists@home.se) since I can't access my mail that often (and I'm really behind reading this list by about 5000 messages).

Best regards,
Daniel Lindholm / Sweden
