Tuning Fees as quoted in the Music Trades Magazine

All,
I have contacted the Music Trades Magazine and QRS, in regard to the current
average tuning fees, in the country. Just thought you would like to have an
update. The initial contact with the Music Trades Mag. was a flat denial and
the statement that I was "chasing the wrong magazine"! Upon further
investigation, I emailed them again quoting the exact page of the exact date
of publication, etc. They have chosen to ignore me.
I attempted to contact QRS through their website....to no avail. If anyone
knows of the proper person/site to contact, in regard to their article on
the "self-tuning piano", which made the "tuning fee" claim, please contact
me, (off list).
My reason for persuing this is to varify or discount the statement. And, if
it is true, to hopefully make some inroads to change it. <G>
