Hello!

How exactly do you proceed with plugging a pinblock?
I have an old grand without a cast iron plate which has some cracks in =
the pinblock. Changing it with a new one would be very complicated, as =
it seems to be embedded into the sides of the case and also has the =
string terminations on it (with bridge pins - this piano has no =
agraffes).

Good sugestion. Alan, just unscrew the block segments ,take =
them to the drill pressand bore for 1/2 inch plugs and rebore. Install =
plugs and screw back in place. Easier said than done but a good option.
