I neglected to say that I TRIED the chisel routine on that olde upright. It
wouldn't budge! I was using 4" wide Brick Chisels, reshaped and sharpened.
To no avail. It was the 10" Porter-Cable or nothing, in that circumstance.
Who says Hide Glue isn't strong!!!!<G> I wailed on that puppy with my 3#
tuning pin driving sledge. Not a wiggle. So, if'n the chisels don't work
there's another way.
