Yesterday, after driving more than 40 minutes, I came to this Heintzman that had major arthritis to about 10 or 12 of it's keys. Now this was major warping. I thought of leaving, but then I thought about the experience I would gain by doing this on the spot. Unfortunately, I had forgotten my CA kicker in the shop. So, thanks to Suzan's white glue + CA, I was able to repair, or at least minimize the warping. Here is my question : Is it better to make a kerf and glue in veneer, or make the kerf and just glue the key back together. As I had time on my hands, I just couldn't make up my mind between the two. Any clues welcome. Marcel Carey, RPT Sherbrooke, QC
