The key frame doesnt really need to move all that much when you come to think of it, and if there simply isnt that much room for it to move enough... then well to put it frankly....something is mighty strange. How thick is the stop felt/block on the left side of the key frame... as in compared to this five year old instrument. Maybe you are best of letting Steinway eat this one eh ?
