I have to aggree with both Jon and Del... look closely and find out whats
really going on here if you are going to do this yourself.

What I would like to know right of is just how much play the key frame actually
has. The key frame doesnt really need to move all that much when you come to
think of it, and if there simply isnt that much room for it to move enough...
then well to put it frankly....something is mighty strange.

How thick is the stop felt/block on the left side of the key frame... as in
compared to this five year old instrument.

Maybe you are best of letting Steinway eat this one eh ? I mean... if they
jiggered a brand new piano it IS their responsibility to make things right.
