Don't mean to add more woe to your day, but I just got a call from a piano teacher today. 1920s Steinway M. Hasn't been tuned in 20 years - never needed it - it holds perfect tune. The only reason she wants me to go there is because her cat jumped on top of piano and knocked something into treble action area and some keys don't work. Go figure.

Wanna bet a few donuts that I won't agree with her about holding a perfect tuning for 20 years? I think I'll bring my tuning lever just in case and allow a few extra minutes - there may just be a few unisons I can clean up. ;-)
