   I agree that replaceing more than one treble string is way too much 
extra work.Correct me if I am wrong,but if all three strings of a 
unison are replaced then one string of the neighboring unison will 
also be replaced.So in order to get the same of effect of "relatively" 
stable unisons,you will end up replaceing three treble loops when just 
one broke in the first place.
   If I want stability and the string breaks around the coil,I tie the 
one string,follow up a week later and I'm done with
