No, not really, though I do maintain a number of other illusions that help 
get me through the day. I just don't understand the contradictions inherent 
in this sort of thing. If it wasn't designed, and it wasn't copied (and if 
so, from what?), then someone somewhere went through the motions making 
what appear to be utterly arbitrary decisions. In spite of the overwhelming 
body of evidence everywhere I look, I still find it difficult to accept 
that so much is done with no obvious attempt at rational thought behind it. 
Who's in charge, and where do these "features" come from?

Yes, that I can verify. Somehow, they actually do think they are buying a 
piano - only cheaper.
