Did you ever leave some = glue in the pot after turning off the heat for a month or two? That may = be a good thing. Gives just a little clearance for the center and front = pins. Hide glue, as it dries, jells and expands up to the size of = the caul making it very useful with older keys. Of course if sizing is not an issue and keys mortises are too expanded = then PVC-E would work equally well.
