Hi,

Quoting from "The Tuning Examination, A Source Book",
page 1, paragraph 2 of "Learning to Pass The PTG
Tuning Examination":

"This exam provides both an objective baseline for
minimum or "entry level" tuning skills of Registered
Piano Technicians and a sufficient challenge for the
masters of our craft." (Michael Travis, RPT)

The key phrase is "minimum...tuning skills", not "hey
look, I'm better 'cause I took the test on a
_____(insert favorite brand of poor piano).
