You're right, higher SWs mean more shank flex. Anybody who has watched a high-speed photo sequence of an action in motion does. Hammershank flex is a constant and variable thing. The amount of flex is directly (though unpredictably) related to the force of the keystroke driving it. The specific amount and direction of hammershank flex at hammer impact is totally unpredictable. Del
