Hello Calin,

Letoff is regulated with a button and a slant on the jack. I don't
believe it is worth the buy, an Erard from the same era would be more
interesting.

We call those overdamper action "mecanique a bayonettes" because of
the shape of the metal rod that act on the damper. These dampers
rarely damp very well, and they are tricky to regulate/repair.

Value is very low in my opinion, no more than 100 € , usually you can
have them for free assuming you pay the movers !

I tune sometime one of these, for sentimental reasons, , it hold tune
may be an hour or so, but the customers can't get rid of it because of
the grandfather that is living in their place.

leather strips, and fragile springs, comb centerpins .... see what I
mean.
