Tuning for violinists

I suppose there must be a web list populated by string players, where there
is some discussion of piano tuners. (I remember coming across something of
the sort for barbershop quartets, who have a similar issue with our
"quirks".) I have not time this morning to look for it, but there is bound
to be some interesting discussion there. Every discipline has its own
perspective, and there is always something to learn from understanding the
other's perspective, no matter how fraught with misunderstanding it may be.
I will check this out soon.
