Rosewood tuning lever/hammer

Hi Julia, The leverage is at the ball end of the shaft allowing one to work
easier.
The other and to me most important aspect is that when tuning uprights the
right handed tuner can tune in a much more relaxed position.
Sort of like the difference in body position ( the arm ) of a violinist as
to a cellist.
Any lefties out there who use the wand style lever?
