Hammer Tail Cove and SW

David,

Unless the hammer shape is really too large, I guess no (I shape the
hammers once glued and on the action) but when shaping a hammer set
we shave off more felt in the bass than in the treble, and the weigh
taken off can go up from 0.1 to 0.6 g (probably more with an even
larger shaping).

No more answer actually , sorry.

Isaac

So does that mean you should do your shaping before doing SW
adjustments?
