Please tell us ( Mystery of the Bobbling Yamaha )

If I remember I adjusted key level and dip very
carefully, lubed the butts and took up lost motion,
and it went away. But that was with letoff at about
1/4" and checking all over the place. The music
minister and I then decided to "leave well enough
alone", lest adjusting these items bring the
"bobbling" back.
It does seem to me, though, that my post on this
issue brought numerous complaints from across the
globe, as if some Yamaha uprights are very prone to
this "bobbling" if they get even slightly "out of
spec".
