Hi,Phil! regarding "shifting" perfect pitch... let's call it "Pitch Memory" to begin with, non of those people can hear bps.In the recent past a few of my clients had confessed to me about the same phenomenon, they recognize pitches 1/2 step lower, same thing is occuring with my wife,I do have so called perfect pitch ,too,so during breakfest together, hearing classical station, for curiosity we play this game and she recognizes pitches 1/2 step off. So,is there a medical explanation?? Would love to hear from other techs.Best Regards!
