Jack,
     Thanks for your informative post!   This was the kind of response I 
hoped for from my original query: how could the Philadelphia Symphony Orchestra 
endorse the Lester piano?   From my experience, not having seen any of their 
grands, this was an absurdity.

     Now I know that at least some Lesters built were built with some 
integrity on their part.    I had surmised that the endorsement smacked of payola, 
but now I think, maybe not.   More like Pianola.   (Or Shinola?)
