Muting felt strips

Hi Sherry:
I've had poor results with so-called muting strips, for me they seem to soft
and mushy and often too thick to get in between strings.  For many years I
have used action cloth which is firm, durable and just the right thickness.
Schaff shows it on page 92 as part # 317G, medium green .118 thick.
Pianotek has similar material #FGA-4G on page A-41.  Try it, you'll like it!
