In September of 1978 There is an article by Yat-Lam Hong in the
Journal about the tool listed in the header and it's use for a string
leveler and a down bearing gauge. Can anyone comment on this tool for use
as a down bearing gauge? It seems to me to be a little more substantial and
therefor more likely to give repeatable readings more easily obtained.
Anyone use one?
