Dale,
         OK, now I se what you were getting at. Sorry, guess I'm a bit=20
dense about these things still. It would be nice if the gauge were a bit=20
heavier but then there would be more of a tendency to deflect the string=20
from it's own weight. I still vote for a rare earth magnet as the base=20
until I hear of something even better.
