WARNING from a klutz was CA etc ...

I still slop even with the needle. Seems hard to get it flowing without
an initial too-high-o'pressure squirt. I've actually done better with
the little "oilers" from Schaff.

BTW, True Confessions:

The first syringe I tried, I -- forgetting every rule of physics 101 --
pulled out the plunger and poured the CA into the top ... As it began
running through the needle (duh!), I panicked and tilted the whole thing
back for a second ... Which literally filled my hand with the glue.

Have you ever had your entire hand stuck together? It's a weird feeling
and that stuff gets HOT as it cures! The one bit of fortune I had was
that I didn't glue my hand to the piano or the floor or anything and I
had ...

******** SPREAD A THICK LAYER OF NEWSPAPER UNDER YOUR
WORK BEFORE OPENING ANY CA CONTAINER *********

And I had remembered to ...

******** KEEP A BOTTLE OF CA REMOVER WITHIN REACH **********

the vapors and the fact that I can't seem to complete any job without
gluing some part of my anatomy to a tool or the piano! Ha."

Alan,
That can be a bit of a problem.<G> However, Someone told me to use
vasoline on my hands, etc. I put on Nitrile Gloves with a light coating
of vasoline....Works Great! Also, I put a smear on the syringe plunger,
so's it don't stick itself up. (BTW, the syringe is the way to go, so's
you don't slop that stuff all over the "coils, etc."<G>) Please do
VENTILATE and wear a good mask! Best Regards, Joe Garrett, RPT, (Oregon)
